We're Davey and Krista—brand strategists and designers who specialize in helping businesses create brands and websites that are beautiful, compelling, and encourage action. After building a successful photography business and launching the Rising Tide Society, one of the largest communities for creatives in the world, Davey and Krista decided to make helping creatives run better businesses their full time gig. Since then, we've helped hundreds of creatives create brands that book through brand design, website design, coaching, our SEO course, speaking opportunities and more!

the process
FROM BEGINNING TO END
Although this may vary depending on the type of design services you're looking for, we'll begin by going through a brand questionnaire & direction exercises to make sure that your brand is perfectly tailored for both you & your ideal client.
Then we'll start working on a several conceptual logos/directions. You'll have the option to choose one direction for us to continue with and we'll show you variations of fonts, sizes, sometimes illustration styles, etc. Once we have a final logo, we'll come up with a few color options for you as well as a font palette and possibly coordinating elements.
After any brand design, we would go through a similar process with your website. Website designs vary in price depending on the complexity of the design, amount of content and revisions. Prices typically include the design of the homepage, blog posts, the content pages, galleries, and a contact page.
On average, sites usually take between 8 to 12 weeks to create and launch. We'll create the site on a test site so you can learn to use it and make sure it's exactly what you want before we move it to your current website. We currently build both custom Showit websites with WordPress blogs and custom WordPress websites (please inquire for a price).

If you don’t need custom design but still want design help, consider beginning with one of our Palm Shop templates.
Alternatively, we could also start with one of our website templates from The Palm Shop and customize based on your brand. Customized versions of our themes normally end up being about $1800 in addition to the purchase of the template.
Or if you want to purchase a theme and do as much as you can on your own, we can always step in towards the end for a few hours ($150/hour).

While all of our sites are set up to play well with Google, excelling in search engine results generally requires a little more work on the content-end.
Our 8-week course is the guide you need to finally create a website that is optimized for both search engines and ideal clients. And the best part? We'll be there every step of the way through a private Facebook group, video tutorials, and live Q&As. We offer custom SEO assistance and coaching, however the course is the most in-depth (not to mention afforable,) way to improve your SEO.

OUR SEO COURSE
It depends on the project. Logos generally average four to six weeks while stationery may take as little as two to four weeks. Websites are a much bigger project, and generally take eight to twelve weeks.
HOW LONG DOES THE DESIGN PROCESS TYPICALLY TAKE?
33% of the project total is due to begin design. The next payment is due 45 days into the process, and the remaining balance is due to receive final files or launch. We accept credit cards through an online invoice system.
HOW DOES PAYMENT WORK?
We charge hourly and the price of a project varies depending on what you’re looking for. If you would like a quote, send us an email with as many details (number of pages, specific designs, functionality) as possible.
HOW MUCH DOES EVERYTHING COST?
No, we do not. We’ve found that if you don’t pay for the updates, ProPhoto tends to break. It also doesn’t give us as much control over the design, and thus it’s harder for us to tell the story of your brand. All of our sites are either built with Showit or with custom WordPress themes coded by us.
DO YOU CUSTOMIZE PROPHOTO TEMPLATES FOR WORDPRESS?
We don’t host the websites we create because ultimately it’s better for our clients to have complete control over domains and hosting; however, we will help you set up your hosting, transfer domain names, etc. If you aren't using Showit and you need a hosting company, we really like SITE5.
WILL YOU HOST MY WEBSITE?
Of course! All of our sites are set up to be search engine friendly, and we’ll give you some tips for making sure your content does well in Google searches.
